This CD is fantastic. Such a cool sounding, mellow, downtempo groove. "Stillness Meets Me" is such a good track.

Once in a while there comes an album that reminds me why I like trance music to begin with. Vibrasphere's new album, Archipelago is one of those albums.
Once you hear track 1, Tierra Azul, you know you're in for a treat. A great chillout track with a beautiful piano line in it... Not a good representation of the rest of the album, but a gorgeous song. The next 7 tracks are straight up psytrance (one track however tends to lean more towards breaks). All of them are unique and very dancey. The closing track, Late Winter Storms, is another chillout piece. Long organic sound.
Genre is listed as Electronic, but I think it's more Trance.

"Above & Beyond does a fantastic job compiling a silky smooth and sexy trance-dance compilation on their latest release in the series "Anjunabeats Volume Five." Each song carefully merges into the next with a delicate touch, and each and every track seems to make sense in this description of the never-ending trance journey. We hear spacey, angelic sounds sifting our mental awareness through the cosmos as well as hard-driving road rage beats which pound us into the surface of dance awareness. I can't say enough about how many times I listened to this double-disc and how truly amazing it is."
Another amazing set of tracks....and I'm still wishing the ENTIRE cd could be added instead the selected tracks.

I absolutely love the mixes...it is unfortunate that some of the tracks have not been added, but what is available to EFM is exceptional.
