Similar to what adidas did with ADIDAS NEMEZIZ 17 the NMD by converting it into the NMD City Sock, the laces have been removed from the Stan Smith transforming it into a bootie-type sneaker. The colorway that we see above comes constructed out of a black Primeknit upper with leather detailing on the heel tab and the medial side panel. Stan Smith and adidas branding has then been placed on the heel and side panels while an off-white classic Stan Smith rubber sole completes the look. There is no confirmed release date yet, but the Stan Smith Sock Primeknit is expected to debut this Summer.After getting a look at the Triple White rendition of the adidas NMD R2 earlier this week, we now bring you a pair exclusively for the ladies.
Design-wise, the 4.0 looks like a blend between the 1.0 and 3.0 versions. Featuring the signature Primeknit upper from the Ultra Boost 3.0, the current semi-translucent cage is now replaced with the original solid iteration from the classic Ultra Boost 1.0. Completing the design is a matching white boost midsole and black rubber outsole.
