Hi,

I wanted a Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 with an adapter for ages, but these new Sigma 14-24mm f2.8 and Tamron 15-30mm f2.8 VC seems to be good choices for Canon.
- Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8 is a proven and very good lens, but no autofocus and exif in Canon, and serious flare problems for non-astro work.
- Tamron 15-30mm f2.8 VC loses 1mm in the wide end but have VC for non-astro work. T3.3 in Tamron against T3.0 in Nikkor.
- Sigma 14-24mm f2.8 is too new to jump into conclusions yet: some reviews state great sharpness (even more than Nikkor) and less Chromatic Aberration, but some reviews state an average performace.
- Unfortunately Canon 16-35mm f2.8 is out of the league due to excessive vignetting.
Which one of the three would you pick for nightscape and ladscape photography and why?

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
