euphonic Records
Description: euphonic was founded by the producers Ralph Kyau & Steven Moebius Albert in spring 1997 and came out of the vinyl label harmony recordings which was founded in 1994. euphonic's headquarters are situated in an east German town called loebau. From the beginning Ralph and Moebius were looking for some new and creative producers, beside their own projects (kyau vs. albert, moebius ag, dope the globe & black emanuelle). With Rough Mullar a.k.a. sonorous, Ronski Speed, Shandy and Mirco de Govia (former releases on harmony recordings) they could find some promising acts for their label. later creative new entries came with marc marberg, stoneface & terminal, sebastian sand und marksun & brian. also the label presents the british top act above & beyond exclusively in germany. euphonic defines itselfs as an artist label and stands for high quality dance music (trance, progressive house & ambient). euphonic works with different partners woldwide (i.e. discomania, anjunabeats, sony bmg, monter tunes). finally it is to say that the strength and communication of all label members is the basis to present euphonic in that professionality. with this label a platform has been built that gives the opportunity to look into a variety of creative directions…

Joel Kanning
Description: Joel Kanning is a composer of Ambient/Electronic music. His style is reminiscent to that of Enigma, Achillea, Jens Gad, Deep Forest, and Delerium. Joel spent his early years as a drummer, playing in various bands from the mid-80's through most of the 90's. Along the way he began experimenting with guitars and keyboards, which eventually led to composing his own original music. The Warheads
Description: The Warheads are a San Francisco Bay Area production team. Although we are musicians, we specialize in the manipulation, re-arranging, and re-mixing of original compositions, unique sounds, and high-quality audio. Recently we have combined elements of world music and computer-based audio electronics into our sound. Working in both old school Analog and new Digital mediums, we focus on the perception of depth and quality of sound within our mixes. We prefer real instruments rather than synthesized sounds. Most of the sounds on our projects start out as acoustic instruments recorded to Analog tape. After blending these tracks and sounds together, we further tweak the tracks before transferring them to Digital–giving us a more organic sound. Then, using the modern mixing elements of Dub and Electronica, we blend our sounds into the final mix.

Description: I use this site and its reviews to help me determine what music I should give a preview or not. Very informative. I have included a paragraph from the "about" section on the site. Saff AmbientMusicGuide.com started life in 1992 as a reference book manuscript. In 2001 it became a website, in retrospect one of my better life choices. The years of ac*****ulated grief from shopping it around unsympathetic publishers soon disappeared as the site gained a following and allowed me to grow and revise content as the years passed. Today it is one part of my broader passion for music which also encompasses live DJ'ing, radio shows and writing for magazines. It is non-commercial and fully independent - my aim has always been to educate and turn people onto good music.

I've tagged it as "lush melodic instrumental electronica." That should help you imagine what it sounds like. But why stop there? Go and download it. It's awesome in the car. Or in your room. Maybe where your computer is. Its even possible that you're in front of your computer right now. I like that. That's sexy. The five albums on this website represents over 9 years of work on my part. A ridiculous amount of time went in to making these tracks. Martin Van
Description: Martin Van has been involved with music for more than 10 years. This nourishing experience allowed him to develop a more personal perspective and a rich artistic criterion beneficial for his work. After 6 years of intense technical studio work, restlessness, searching and routine took him towards a more artistic side publishing his first solo record “Free Style” in 2002. At the same time, his next project was born: Orquest with whom he edits an LP in 2005. He continues recording and producing for local and international artists. In 2008 he presents a CD with Stefanie Horn of Tibetan meditation and his new solo work "Mas alla" (Beyong) with a video clip of the song which gives the name to the album.. This new work was presented in Spain for a one year and half. At the same time was chosen a song of MAs alla' (Beyong) to participate in a compilation of new wave artists who donated a song for peace (Unconditional Peace Movement cd1). Meanwhile, between concerts in Madrid and Barcelona he release a new album called ""El masnou"" in 2009, inspired in meditation and yoga sessions. After that he became involved in a new project Lucky Santino, in Madrid to produce and compose 13 songs. The album is coming, keep in touch!
