i just want to say that the first time i heard the remix of the songs i love like forever rachel,Rena's Theme,Soulless Village etc etc and ETC!! my heart started to cry, don't know why...

When I was younger I didn't have much of a life apart from bike riding with my buddies and scoping out the girls*grin*. Other than that and building the occasional fort in the woods, it was bottle rocket wars and video games galore! ....I never really realized much at first, but one of the things that really got me to like a game was the music.... Yeah sure it was actually a combination of things....but it was the music that really stood out to me. As the years went by many of those I knew became involved in alcohol and drugs and I found myself home alone during weekends. Video games became my escape from life. Unfortunately, yet fortunately, there was a small group of friends who felt the same way I did......alone. Renting a ton of games on weekends, every one of us was provided an escape to our own endless silicon fantasy.
Many games have graced my hands....but the Final Fantasy series was one that really touched me. It was my first 'true' rpg series. I was amazed at how I could be so 'involved' and emotionally moved by a game. As consoles got better, so did the musical "blips and bleeps" we were so accustomed to hearing, and I found myself frequently recording sounds from my favorite games, onto tape. ....I loved music....and my friends and I longed to hear our favorite tunes in various ways and styles...yet...all we could do was ponder such things.
Day dreaming was my number one thing on the 'to do' list. Music came to me like air entering ones lungs.....but just as quickly as it entered it was gone, for I had no way to capture these masterpieces in my mind. Easily this became my game music phase. If there was an OST (Original soundtrack) of a game I could get my hands on...I did. In fact....now that I think about it, OSTs were about all you could get at that time!*ha* I remember buying the FF5 import CD for over $100!!!! Now that's a true addict!*sheesh* Needless to say, I have more sense than that now. And my once pondered dreams are ready to become a reality.

Interesting post ens!
I checked out the samples and think that the trance album and the ambient/chill album (which has not been released yet) could be interesting additions. I thought there were several tracks that sounded pretty cool!
Not sure how well they would fit in with Saffron's vision for the station, but I definitely think they are interesting!
