What movies on DVD are you planning to see in the near future?
I figured this would help folks get to know each other's film preferences.
The next films I plan to see on my movie queue are:
Who Killed the Electric Car?
I met a guy whose hobby is making small electric cars and he recommended this to me.
Street Fight
I used to work in DC, attended many congressional hearings, and saw a lot of things behind the scenes that made me cynical about the political process. Hence my interest in this documentary, which follows the 2002 mayoral campaign trails of Cory Booker and Sharpe James in Newark, NJ.
49 Up
I've wanted to see this series for ages but my local video store never had it. I'm fascinated by how one's life course is influenced by the environment and certain pivotal events.
Mayor of Casterbridge
One of the things I like to do is compare novels to their film adaptations. Besides, Ciaran Hinds is kind of attractive for an older guy and is a fantastic actor too.
Sholay
I'm in a Bollywood phase and am also rediscovering Japanese classics. This blockbuster Indian film influenced by spaghetti westerns seems pivotal to understanding this genre. |

Great topic zirael!
Let's see...
Old Boy
Still have to watch this korean classic. I know a bit of the story already and own the DVD but didn't find the time to play it yet.
Superman Returns
Because I'd like to see what Bryan Singer did with the Superman myth
More to come... soon! |

what ISN'T in my movie queue? i'm so far behind, its ridiculous. i've had a copy of the Last
Samurai forever, and one of these days, i'll actually watch it.
mostly i have some tv shows in my blockbuster Q right now - Rome, the Office, and Extras. but first up, Robin and The Seven Hoods (the rat pack classic), Stranger Than Fiction, The Good Year, and just for fun, re-watching 28 Days Later, the zombie movie that's not a zombie movie.
a broad spectrum. |

I buy more DVD's than I can watch at the moment. So my DVD queue is long (about 23). You can see my queue on my dvd list. If you order them by purchased date, then my queue (with a few exceptions) start on Chariots of Fire, bought on april 10, 2007. _________________ That's the beauty of music. Hi all.
There are two movies in queue.
1> lord of the rings.
Specially to see actors, as all are good. Its story is too good.
2> War of the worlds.
This is one of my favorite movies. I like its theme than all other movies. It keeps you sit till the end. The awesome movie for ever. _________________ scart cables |
