Epic and Elusive

Truly amazing and grounding breaking is the Unearthed CD. Whenever you hear a song, it seems to ring familiar in your mind. It gives you that uncanny feeling of deja'vu. And this is for good reason since their music has been used in what seems like countless movie trailers and other promotional venues.
There is not one bad song on this album. Each is unique yet they all combine together to make a very powerful statement. On their website www.esposthumus.com they say that their inspiration comes from the Pythagorean Philosophy, that "music is the harmonization of opposites; the conciliation of warring elements". This is true, they have done that. You hear powerful choirs which contrast with simple piano melody. The contrasts only making each opposite appear brighter and more distinct.
Once you hear the album in its entirety you will want to frantically find ALL their work. More, more, more! But sadly, there isn't anymore...yet. We all await the future of e.s. posthumus.
